The £3.8billion-turnover American sports, footwear and casual clothing brand offered PlayerLayer the chance to become an exclusive license partner for the distribution of Under Armour teamwear across Europe. Since providing Nottingham Rugby, Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Great Britain's short-track speed skating and England lacrosse teams with kits sporting the PlayerLayer badge, the firm linked up with Under Armour in 2017. The company, previously based in West Bridgford, has grown rapidly after three childhood friends, Roderick Bradley, Anthony Dyer and James Clayfield, started out making custom team uniforms for Britain's most distinguished universities. PlayerLayer began its journey to become a premiere sportswear brand in 2009 and has now scored a location on Carrington Street. A Nottingham sportswear firm that is known for providing sports kits to international sports teams - and even paired-up with one of the globe's leading sports brands, Under Armour - has moved its headquarters to a prestigious new city centre location.
